I grew up in Florida so some of my favorite memories are there. A few years back I traveled to Key West with good friends and then to Marco Island with my family. When in Florida I have to eat Cuban food, kind of a no brainer for a Cuban-American. I order the things that are not easy for me to make and aren’t readily available in Iowa.

My favorite Cuban dessert- Capuccinos!! Not your typical coffee drink but these lovely cakes completely soaked in simple syrup!!!
