Cooking with CHEF MEL
People always ask if I cook big gourmet meals at home for my family. The truth is, time doesn’t allow for gourmet meals every night, so save those for special occasions! At home, I like to cook some traditional family dishes that have been passed down, but I also just like to eat as clean and fresh as possible. As far as our eating habits go, we try not to eat processed foods, and I personally try to eat as little gluten as I can (because I feel better when I don’t). And even though I am lactose intolerant, I choose to sneak some every once in a while. A life without cheese would be boring. Join me here as I share some of our family dishes as well as some things I like to whip up.
